Face to Face gallery experiments with the possibility of using the web as a venue to display art during the nascent years of the web. The gallery documents my html learning curve. ImageMaps made it possible to create links out of the individual works on the walls. The work is a digital gallery in every sense—even the room is constructed from pixels. The work displayed here represents some of my earliest explorations in identity issues. All of the works were created before the introduction of the first web browser.

Except where function would be affected, the site is displayed in its original html 2.0 state. The links to Object Project (the door) and Character Sites (the left wall) are disconnected. The latter can be viewed elsewhere on this site.
