Felt

Text is a consistent thread throughout my body of work. Words are powerful but often inadequate to express an experience. Material choices, text selection, composition, and presentation help enhance meaning. These works are my thoughts made visual.

Feel is a study in grief. Scraps of felt are pieced together to capture the fractured state of grief in which we enforce order just to function. The gray colors capture the crowded thoughts of grief with occasional reliefs of color becoming more frequent.

This project is undergoing a weathering process to capture the decay of passing time.
