Cast Sugar

9 ft x 18 x 1.5 inches

The word "Private", constructed of cast sugar, is slowly dissolved by weather or carried away  by insects. The work questions wealth and its divides. Sugar was chosen as a material for its  source of wealth and power in South Florida.  It is also associated with excess and consumption. In the end, it is all fleeting as nature takes back what it gives.
